Each discipline (Audio, Video, Lighting) is scoped independently using the same tier structure below. Most projects engage at least 2 BlackBox team members to ensure both strategic design and technical approach.

  • Best for teams who need expert design clarity and a clear path to integration.

    Includes:

    • System design for one discipline (Audio or Video or Lighting)

    • Needs assessment & design direction

    • Equipment recommendations & performance specs

    • Infrastructure and integration guidance

    • Concept drawings and documentation

    • A complete design package suitable to issue an RFP to integrators

    • Recommendation of three proven integration partners aligned to your project

    • Virtual meetings and remote collaboration

    This tier gets you from vision → clarity → ready-to-bid.

    Does not include on-site visits or commissioning.

    $15,000

  • Best for teams who want design leadership plus confidence through the bidding process.

    Everything in Tier 1, plus:

    • On-site visit(s) by BlackBox team

    • In-room evaluation and contextual system planning

    • Direct collaboration with staff and integrators

    • Refinement of design based on physical space and workflows

    • We will shop your RFP to three vetted integrators

    • Active participation in bid review and vetting

    • Support comparing scope, pricing, methodology, and fit

    This tier protects your investment before a single dollar is spent on gear.

    Does not include commissioning.

    $25,000

  • Best for teams who want full ownership from design through system activation.

    Everything in Tier 2, plus:

    • On-site commissioning and system verification

    • System tuning and optimization

    • Performance validation against design intent

    • Final sign-off support alongside your integrator and team

    • Ensuring the system performs as designed — not just as installed

    This tier ensures what you designed is what you experience.

  • If your project includes:

    • Multiple disciplines (e.g., Audio + Video + Lighting), or

    • Architectural design, spatial planning, or major facility development
